Rare fruit pair of floral Art Nouveau made of 800 silver
description
This rare pair of fruits is in
Jugendstil / Art Nouveau
made and decorated with stylish openwork floral decor (ginkgo?) on the stem. The model is a
Ateilier draft by approx. 1905-1910 from the renowned Wilkens & Sö factory. from Bremen
. Unfortunately I couldn't find any further information about the draft. The pair is ideal not only for fruit, but also for starters or cheese platters.
A real rarity from the Art Nouveau era!
A great addition to any collection!
The couple is approx. 15-16.7 cm. long.
Both parts are made entirely of silver and with
800, crescent moon, crown and maker's mark
stamped.
The authenticity is guaranteed!
The pair of fruits is in a well-tended, used condition, with light gilding on the front parts, without a monogram (see photos).
