    Description

    Pelikan introduced this K650 Vermeil (solid silver plated in 14K gold) Souverän model ballpoint pen in the 1950's. This German pen has a black barrel with a handsome vermeil cap embellished with a guilloche pattern of lines.  It is in very fine used condition. The total length is 127mm.  The lip of the cap reads "SOUVERÄN GERMANY PELIKAN 925". The top of the cap has the older Pelikan logo of a nesting bird with two chicks. The pen operates with a twist mechanism to advance and retract the ballpoint pen.  It takes standard refills.  There are no personal engravings.  A space seems dedicated on the cap should you wish to add a personal marking.
