Gorgeous Antique Art Nouveau 1920's blue knitted chainmalle evening bag/purse with silver beads. This beautiful piece features a knitted outer shell with blue thread and silver beads woven within the stitches. The frame features a greek key and filigree design with daisies accented across. The clasp is a kiss ball style. The chain is a patterned rolo chain. The outer metal of the frame does contain some amounts of silver. How much exactly is uncertain. The inside of the purse is silk-lined with a ruffled edge. The purse is not marked, but is in wonderful condition and the silver displays an aged patina.
